Top Bathroom Tile Design

BUILT-IN FRAME

A geometric layout encloses the mirror and sconces at a New York bathroom, with tile from Studium.

SILVER TRIM

Silver travertine tiles, Ann Sacks's Palladium, line the walls and floor of a Boston townhouse's master tub.

INLAID BATHMATS

The master bathroom in designer Betty Lou Phillips's French-style Dallas house was motivated by baths in five-star hotel suites. The Monsieur and Madame "mats" are inlaid mosaics.

HEXAGONAL PATTERN

"I wanted drama!" Says designer SuzAnn Kletzien of the daring en suite bathroom. The impact begins with a dynamic hexagonal-tile "rug" by Artistic Tile. In Thassos marbles and Nero Marquina, Pacific White, it's a version of traditional penny-tile.

NAVY WALLS

This "fisherman's shack" sits right on top of this water, so bands of Ann Sacks tile echo sea views out. The flooring look thanks to Carrara hexagonal tiles.

DRAMATIC OPAL

In a new york bathroom designed by Sandra Nunnerley, mist mosaic tile by Studium has a watery, pearlescent glow.
